Epoxy Resin Sink

The sink shall be monolithic, filled epoxy resin product and shall consist of a polymerized cast resin material formulated to provide a high chemical resistance characteristic. The combination of epoxy resin and asbestos free inert material shall be oven-cured in molds to obtain maximum physical strength and stability. Epoxy resin sinks are the most popular laboratory sink material and are highly resistant to many acids; solvents and other inert chemicals found in both commercial and educational laboratory settings. Epoxy sinks are available in all of the same colors as epoxy tops. We offer a wide variety of both drop-in and under mount (requires a sink support system) sinks to fit most every need. Epoxy sinks are beneficial to the user because they are extremely durable. They provide the best all around answer for lab grade sinks as they will resist most acids, solvents, high and low pH solutions etc. If you consistently use nitric, hydrochloric, hydrofluoric, sulfuric acid and other highly corrosive compounds.

Technical Ceramic Sink

High-performance ceramics, also called technical ceramics, are a material that in contrast to decorative ceramics has been optimized for technical applications. It is characterized by special properties, mainly with regard to heat & chemical resistance, mechanical stability and dimensional stability. Raw materials such as clay, kaolin, quartz and feldspar, ceramic sinks are typically durable, easy to keep clean and reassuringly solid to look at too.

Polypropylene Sink

Polypropylene laboratory sinks, traps, and pipe fittings are available in a molded, one piece seamless construction of a blend of virgin polyolefin's, (polypropylene and polyethylene) with 3% carbon black ultra-violet stabilizer; these polypropylene products are designed for a non-pressurized gravity based-system leading to the safe discharge of corrosive fluids in a laboratory.

Advantages

  • Manufactured of chemical resistant polyolefin's
  • Corrosion Resistant against commonly used acids and chemicals
  • Mechanical Strength
  • Shock Resistance
  • under counter mount
  • Ease of Installation
  • One piece molded with separate drain outlet
  • Lower weight for reduced cost of materials and freight

Stainless Steel Sink

The sink made of 316 grade steel bonded on to wood core with suitable reinforcing on the underside they are available flat edge or raised edges. Solid stainless steel is a unique product innovation, which fits perfectly to the current green sustainability and contemporary minimalism themes. There is no other material as extremely thin and practically indestructible as this. Moreover, it is 100% recyclable because no additional construction is glued to it. A sink also known by other names including sinker, washbowl, hand basin and wash basin is a bowl-shaped plumbing fixture used for washing hands, dishwashing, and other purposes. Sinks have taps (faucets) that supply hot and cold water and may include a spray feature to be used for faster rinsing.

Solid Surface Sink

Solid surface is a non-porous low-maintenance material used for surfaces such as sink. It can mimic the appearance of granite, marble, stone, and other naturally occurring materials, and can be joined nearly invisibly by a trained craftsman.

Advantages

  • Longevity
  • Ease of cleaning
  • Invisible seams

Disadvantages

  • Gentle non-abrasive cleaning. An example is the use of microfiber cloths or sponges
  • Do not cut or chop directly on the surface.
  • Do not put hot pots directly on the surface. Avoid corrosive chemicals, highly acidic or alkaline solutions and dye or staining foods.
